Doughty lifts Kings past Sabres with late goal

Drew Doughty scored a power-play goal with two minutes remaining to break a tie, and the Los Angeles Kings defeated the Buffalo Sabres 4-2 at Staples Center on Saturday.

With Dustin Brown setting a screen in front of the net, Doughty beat goalie Robin Lehner to make it 3-2 with his first goal of the season. Tanner Pearson scored into an empty net to make it 4-2 with 13 seconds left. Read more at nhl.com
